Based on your feedback, we completely rethought the event. We renamed/rebranded the conference, moved it to a different date, and modified speaking tracks and topics to reflect our expanded focus.

We’re thrilled to announce the new and improved Analytics and Data Summit!

Introducing the Analytics and Data Summit… New Name, Same Great Technical Content!

As we announced earlier this week, the BIWA User Community is excited to announce a new name and brand identity for our flagship event, the BIWA Summit, to Analytics and Data Summit! This reflects the event’s expanded focus and the evolution of the analytics, business intelligence (BI), big data, machine learning, and spatial and graph solution markets.

A New Date for the Conference: March 20-22, 2018

We also announced in another (!) press release this week that the event, historically held in January each year, has been moved to March 20-22, 2018, at the Oracle Conference Center in Redwood Shores, CA.

Speaking of New Dates: A New Speaker Deadline…December 3, 2017

The Analytics and Data Summit is seeking speaking applications related to the following topics: adaptive intelligence; analytics; big data; cloud; data warehousing; data integration and governance (ETL); Internet of Things (IoT); spatial and graph; machine learning; and “anything else ‘cool’ using these Oracle technologies in ‘novel and interesting’ ways.”

Proposals that cover multiple areas are acceptable and highly encouraged. The content committee strongly encourages technical/how-to sessions, strategic guidance sessions, and real-world customer case studies, all using Oracle technologies.

Primary speakers receive a free pass to the event!

To reflect the later conference date, the content submission deadline is now December 3, 2017.
